Jaguars sighted in Arizona and New Mexico

This powerfull South American big cat is not supposed to be in North America in 2007, but here he is nonetheless, his golden hide adorned with large black rosettes and his muscular, (125-300lb ) feline power is unmistakable.

There have been jaguars sighted pretty consistently in AZ for the past 4-5 years, but the border fence and its accompanying construction activity may put an end to this great cat’s US presence.

its not too much of a shock. it is its natural habitat and now people have stopped shooting them its done what it should do.
